Hi Ginger, I’m a new student and I’m excited to start this painting! I’m going to use a 20 x 24 canvas. Do you have any advice for me on how to use the larger size canvas before I get started? Thank you in advance!
Tammy,
Before tackling something of this nature, Ginger would love to see something that you have done, so she can better advise you. Have you done any of our smaller Wave and Water tutorials yet? We would recommend that you do one of them, and then send that into Ginger for Personal Art Coaching and telling her what your goals are to paint this lesson large.
Hope this helps.
This one is awesome! It is taking me days, and I love that! That means I have a challenge. Oh and FYI the Resource on Chapter two of this lesson is of the Key.
Thank you, this helps!😎
Hi Can I just clarify the size of the painting on this video as it has 10 by 10 in what is needed to paint it and then 12 by 16 beside it and then Ginger sasy 14 by 12 in the training video. Sorry but I just need to know to get my dimensions right as I will be following Gingers exactly!!
Robyn, you caught one of the many typos on our site as I am going through and updating the site. The actual and proper size for this painting is the 12×16 inch. We apologize for the confusion.
What a fantastic tutorial. I have been waiting for one like this to come along for ages – thanks Ginger. Its not easy but is doable. Defintely one to take time over and enjoy.
