In this lesson, "Frank's Falls", Ginger shows you how to paint very realistic rocks in a different way than she has taught in the past. There is much to be learned in this lesson, even if you don't actually paint it.
We feel that this lesson is so important, that we have made it available for all active members of the Academy. Both the Video Lesson Library (VLL) and the Wave & Water (WW) members can enjoy and learn from this tutorial.

Anatomy of rocks: Everything you always wanted to know about rocks, but were afraid to ask! Great tutorial. I will have to admit, I was not expecting so much helpful information rocks and their relationship to rushing water. Thanks 🙂
liking the comment about “seeing the suttle colours in our reference pics” I am practising !! TY Ginger this is very appropriate for me as I have an original with rocks natural and a rock wall taken in Italy on tour earlier this year.
Loving this lesson! Are the pencils you are using to sketch in the rocks the Conté à Paris 6-Count Sketching Pencils Set in your Amazon storefront? They seem to go on so easily. Thanks!
