In this lesson, "Violin and Books the Still Life", Ginger shows you how to paint this beautiful still life of a violin and some books. This is a longer lesson and you will see several design decisions being made and changed. (This is page 1 of 2 for the complete 15-episode tutorial, 6-1/2 hours) Go here for Page 2.
As always with this type of lesson, you are encouraged to watch the videos before picking up paints and brushes. You can always speed up the playback, but when Ginger is designing as she goes, there will be changes along the way.
The "Violin and Books the Still Life" is painted on an 18"x24" stretched canvas using Ginger's standard palette of colors.

Nevermind it was me.
For griding…wouldn’t it be better to grid on paper then transfer onto canvas?..I’m thinking that it would allow for corrections without having all that chalk on the canvas and getting into your brush. Plus makes for a crisper image on the canvas. Just saying. Might be getting some tracing paper. The bonus would be that you now have a traceable..
