In this lesson, "Job Lot Cheap", Ginger shows you how to paint this classic painting from one of our favorite "Old Dead Guys" (ODG).
See page 2 for the GRIDDING PART!

Katie,
Great question! We used black gesso for the underpainting. Any very dark color will work just fine.
Thanks for the question!
Jon
Thanks 😊
Just finished watching this for the second time. You are absolutely amazing the way you translate an ODG to your style. I’m going to attempt this, it may take me awhile but I love this classic.
Just amazing – way above my Cookie level but seeing the way you break it down I am going to slowly give it a go. So beautiful.

Hi Ginger,
Such a beautiful painting. I didn’t know about this artist before.
I can’t find the episode in which you have gridded this. The first episode starts with this already gridded on and the paint being applied. Which episode has the gridding?
Thanks
Wonderful! Thank you for doing such a classic painting. I love it! I think you’ve done a few others from this artist. They would go together, I think. 🙂
