I just watched this tutorial for second or third time. I am amazed more each time as I try to see where or how you see so many color variations. Absolutely gorgeous. In complete admiration of your paintings. Look forward to trying this painting. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
If you have not fallen in love by the time you are finished painting this, I’d say don’t even paint it. He is so adorable, I can hardly stand it. He is goning on my list to do. Great lesson Ginger!
I seriously love this little dog, so much so that I am going to start it tomorrow after my grand-children leave, we have them for the weekend. I may just sneak in the underpainting!!! I have three underpaintings started with dogs, two large ones before the passing of my little girl, and just started the Henri-de Toulouse-Loutrec painting of that little scruffy dog, all these paintings will be on deep gallery wrapped canvases.
