Testimonials about our Online Academy
I appreciate my art coach
I just wanted to say how much I appreciate my art coach. I am thankful that she is not someone who will let me make mistakes and not point it out. I am thankful that she is honest and wants me to succeed. Not many art teachers at this price point out there actually care if you succeed in your journey. I also appreciate that she doesn't compare you to a top-notch artist in the group. Allows us to grow on our own giving us the little nudges in direction. The personal time given to me via e-mail or a live PAC is priceless! I will always value the personal attention given to me.
Thank you for caring and helping me to grow as a painter!
Learning to Paint Better
It's a very good method to learn from tutorials. As Ginger says, “tutorials are like piano scales.” And I like the ticket system way to submit my paintings, it helps me keep track of my progress. Thank you for all the efforts, Ginger and Jon.
I have been painting many years and thought I was a fairly decent artist. I was introduced to Ginger after following her daughter Cinnamon, The Art Sherpa on YouTube. Being a self-taught artist, I realized that I didn't really know anything about art. I have learned so much from Ginger about the techniques of art. I joined her academy and realized it's like getting a Masters Degree in Art for just a little amount of money each month.
Her video art coaching, which is part of her Personal Art Coaching, is priceless. You get your own personal coaching lesson just between you and her and she points out where you can improve and shows you how to do it and she also tells you why you are doing it. I have not seen a better teaching plan than the one her and Jon have come up with. It's just so personal.
Thanks for all you do Ginger and Jon.
Living my dream
Hi Jon Ginger and mods, maybe by now you can tell this is my first time learning how to manuver through the email process. I'm sorry if you have received duplicate email from me. It wasn't my intention.
After I won my tube of towels I had to tell by mom. I have been so excited ever since I found Ginger. I talk about you all the time to my friends and family.
I've wanted to paint since I was in 7th grade. I'm 58 now with RA disability, and to have Ginger as my teacher… I'm living my dream!
I love being in the face book group. Every one is so kind and helpful. I'm making new friends and learning so much from everyone.
I see all the beauty of the paintings by everyone and It's so inspiring and encouraging. I say to myself, I can do this.
Please share with Ginger I think she is an excellent teacher. I hope one day I will get the meet her.
I'm not afraid anymore to put the paint on the canvas! I want to be the best artist I can be, to tell my stories on canvas.
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication in sharing your gifts with all of us. God bless you, Ginger Jon and all the mods.
Proud to be a Member ~ Again!
I have recently returned to Ginger’s Academy after an unfortunate, but brief, painting hiatus. I’m proud to be a member, once again, of Ginger’s “Merry Band of Artists!” I originally became a member of the Academy in 2016 when I began painting in my late 40s. I began watching Ginger & Jon on YouTube, where I quickly discovered I wanted more of Ginger’s knowledge & instruction (as well as more stories!). Being an Academy student, not only do I get high-quality tutoring from one of the best artists around today, I get individualized, one-on-one attention with an honest, refreshing approach, and a great sense of humor to boot! Thank you, Ginger & Jon, for giving me the confidence to believe in myself, and help me grow as an artist. Your academy has been an invaluable tool in my art journey. Art Hugs!
I'm on cloud 9
To anyone who is considering joining up with Ginger, Jon, and the moderators, Yes do it! I am literally floating so in love with painting thanks to Ginger, and her daughter The Art Sherpa on YouTube. I found them on YouTube, then after around maybe 35 or so paintings, I started believing in myself as a painter and before long I am painting almost every day to a tutorial on here or YouTube. I try to do only ceramic art at the studio, so this way I do both. I paint at home so that I am not in too much pain and can paint for a longer period of time. I feel like the most blessed person in the world being part of such a wonderful art school and community. Love you guys and I can't thank you enough.
