Living my dream
Hi Jon Ginger and mods, maybe by now you can tell this is my first time learning how to manuver through the email process. I'm sorry if you have received duplicate email from me. It wasn't my intention.
After I won my tube of towels I had to tell by mom. I have been so excited ever since I found Ginger. I talk about you all the time to my friends and family.
I've wanted to paint since I was in 7th grade. I'm 58 now with RA disability, and to have Ginger as my teacher… I'm living my dream!
I love being in the face book group. Every one is so kind and helpful. I'm making new friends and learning so much from everyone.
I see all the beauty of the paintings by everyone and It's so inspiring and encouraging. I say to myself, I can do this.
Please share with Ginger I think she is an excellent teacher. I hope one day I will get the meet her.
I'm not afraid anymore to put the paint on the canvas! I want to be the best artist I can be, to tell my stories on canvas.
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication in sharing your gifts with all of us. God bless you, Ginger Jon and all the mods.
Ginger Changed My Painting Life
I started with watercolors 20 years ago and I enjoyed it. Then I happened to catch a Bob Ross video and I painted off and on in oils for the next 15 or so years. When I took a look around my home and saw oil paintings drying everywhere, I knew I had to make a change. I searched acrylics and found “The Art Sherpa” about a year and a half ago. Her perky personality and easy to paint tutorials satisfied me for a few months but I knew I wanted to hone my skills with more difficult lessons. Ginger Cook entered my life 14 months ago. I joined her Online Art Academy in December 2017 and it is the greatest gift that I could have given myself.
In her personal art coaching (PAC), Ginger tells you honestly where you are on your art journey if you are trying to paint something that is over your head or just gives you a few pointers that can make all the difference in your painting. I still have a long way to go, but with Ginger by my side, it will be a great road to travel.
